Believe it or not, 2010 has reached halftime. Time for an analysis of the first half and assessment of your plan for July through December.
Have a look at your wheel of life. What’s that you say? “What is my wheel of life?” The wheel of life is a concept that helps us organize the various aspects of our existence and make independent plans and judgments about them. I was going to invent it years ago, but somebody beat me to it. So, I did not reinvent the wheel. 😉
Here are the spokes of my wheel, in no particular order:
- Personal Development
You may have noted that five of the eight spokes begin with the letter F. The engineer in me SO wants all eight to begin with F, but I just could not figure out how. But I digress.
Rate each spoke on a scale from 1-10 in terms of your satisfaction with your own performance in that area. What were the high points, low points, key learnings? Now look at the second half of 2010 (begins tonight at midnight) and make SMART goals in each area. If you need a refresher on SMART goals, check out the video on my website.
Enjoy half time. Make it a wonderful 4th of July weekend and here’s to an awesome second half! Remember that when you do your best, the worst cannot happen.
